Anthony Edwards shined for the Timberwolves scoring 30 points, which is his fourth consecutive game of 30 points as well as eight assists and rebounds. However, his plan to even his score before the buzzer was unsuccessful to the chagrin of the Timberwolves supporters.
The Timberwolves hosted the game their first game in more than a month, were missing their top three big men, which was a problem against the current champions, Nuggets and the world-class Jokic.

However, the Nuggets however, showed their skill by converting all crucial free throws toward the end, which eventually sealed their victory.
The game was a challenging problem for both teams and was a testimony to their individual personalities. They Nuggets and Timberwolves will now be looking ahead to taking on New York and Cleveland respectively.
